Before you begin
Check the codec, audio layout, metadata, and camera folder structure, then confirm what the destination can import directly.
MXF is a professional container, so compatibility depends on the video codec, audio layout, metadata, and intended application. Do not convert solely because the filename ends in .mxf; test the source in the destination first.
Use MP4 for broad playback and sharing, or select MOV, AVI, or WMV only when a specific application requires it. A transcode can change quality and metadata, so preserve the originals and verify picture, audio, timecode, and sync.

Add the source
Open LosslessConverter and select Add Files. Add the MXF clips and select the files required for this workflow.
Create a broadly compatible file
Open Output Format, select the Video group, and choose MP4. Start with Same as source, then change resolution only when the destination requires it.
Create the current output
Choose an output folder and select Start All. When processing finishes, open the MP4 result in the destination player or service and verify picture, frame rate, and audio. AVI, MOV, and WMV remain available when a specific application requires them.
