Who we are

LosslessAI Software, Inc. is the developer of LosslessConverter. Our team focuses on desktop media software for disc backup, video and audio conversion, and practical editing workflows.

Our mission

Our mission is to help people preserve, prepare, and use their media with less complexity. We aim to make format choices and processing steps easier to understand, so users can choose the right workflow for their files, devices, and goals.

How we work

Our working principles are to put user needs first, explore useful improvements, collaborate across product development and support, and communicate honestly. That includes explaining platform differences and limitations, listening to feedback, and improving the product and its guides.

Users first

Start with the problem people are trying to solve and explain the choices that affect the result.

Work together

Connect product development, support, and documentation so the workflow is clear from one step to the next.

Be clear about limits

Describe platform differences, compatibility conditions, and testing boundaries instead of hiding them behind broad claims.

Our history and products

Our product family began with image enhancement and later expanded to media conversion and screen recording.

  1. LosslessImage launched

We released our first product, LosslessImage, for AI image upscaling and enhancement.

  2. LosslessConverter launched

The first version of LosslessConverter was released, extending our product family to video and audio conversion.

  3. LosslessRec launched

The first version of LosslessRec was released, marking the launch of our screen-recording product.

  4. Current product family

Image enhancement, recording, and media preparation

LosslessImage provides AI image upscaling and enhancement. LosslessRec focuses on Windows screen recording. LosslessConverter supports disc backup, video and audio conversion, compression, extraction, and practical editing on Windows and Mac. These products support different image and media tasks.

What is LosslessConverter?

LosslessConverter is a desktop application for Windows and macOS. It imports supported DVD and Blu-ray discs, disc folders, ISO images, and media files, then lets you choose a disc backup, conversion, compression, extraction, or editing workflow.

Media tools include trimming, cropping, rotation, merging, watermarking, and output settings for resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and audio. Compatible jobs can use supported NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, or Apple hardware acceleration. Check the technical specifications for supported formats, systems, and hardware.

Who is it for?

  • Disc owners: create authorized DVD or Blu-ray backups, preserve selected titles, or convert supported disc sources for playback.
  • Camera and camcorder users: prepare supported footage, including MTS/M2TS and MXF files, for an editor or playback device.
  • People managing media files: convert formats, reduce file size, extract audio or subtitles, and make practical edits.

The right output depends on the source and destination. Before processing a full disc or batch, test a representative file or title and check picture, sound, subtitles, and playback in the application or device you plan to use.

How do backup and conversion differ?

Full Disc Backup: preserve the complete disc

Choose Lossless > Full Disc Backup for a complete 1:1 backup to an ISO image or disc folder. This workflow preserves the disc structure rather than creating a smaller playback file.

Lossless Copy: preserve selected titles

Choose Lossless Copy in the Lossless group when you want to back up selected titles instead of the complete disc. Title selection and a full disc backup serve different purposes.

Conversion: make an output for a specific destination

Choose a video, audio, or device profile when you need a particular playback format, smaller file, or different codec. Conversion that re-encodes media can change quality; the product name does not mean every output mode is lossless. Output settings and source compatibility matter.

For separate subtitle files, the Lossless group also includes Extract Subtitles. See the conversion guide for the interface steps and the disc guide for backup workflows.

Use disc-copying and decryption features only with media you own or are authorized to process, and only where permitted by local law.

Is the Windows version the same as the Mac version?

Both versions support core conversion and media processing. Selected AI tools are currently Windows-only, and subtitle output and hardware support differ by platform. Consult the disc and subtitle specifications, system requirements, and AI requirements before choosing a workflow.

The installation guide covers Windows setup and Mac installation from a DMG. Mac downloads are provided separately for Intel and Apple silicon systems.

About this website and its guides

This is the official LosslessConverter product website. It provides downloads, license information, support resources, and guides that may recommend our own software. These are product guides from a commercial software provider, not independent reviews.

Our editorial policy and testing method explains source selection, test records, historical workflows, and corrections. A guide without published test details should be treated as technical guidance rather than a verified benchmark or a guarantee for every source file.

Review license options, the sales FAQ, and the technical FAQ for trial limits and compatibility before purchasing. Purchase conditions are covered by the refund policy, license agreement, and terms and conditions.
