How to convert Blu‑ray to MP4, MOV, AVI, FLV, MPEG, M4V, or WMV

Choose a Blu-ray output by destination

The steps below demonstrate H.264 MP4 because it is broadly supported. MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV, M4V, and MPEG are alternatives only when a specific player, editor, or service requires them; a container name does not guarantee codec compatibility.

Process only discs you are authorized to copy. Select the correct title, audio, and subtitles, then match frame rate and resolution to the destination. Test picture, channel layout, subtitles, and sync before converting the full disc or collection.

Add the source

Load the Blu-ray disc

Open LosslessConverter and select Add Disc. Add the Blu-ray disc, then select the required title, audio, and subtitle tracks.

Create a broadly compatible file

Choose Video > MP4

Open Output Format, select the Video group, and choose MP4. Start with Same as source, then change resolution only when the destination requires it.

Create the current output

Select Start All, then verify in general playback or sharing

Choose an output folder and select Start All. When processing finishes, open the MP4 file in the destination player and verify picture, audio, subtitles, and sync. MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV, and M4V remain available when a specific destination requires them.
