Check the codec, audio layout, metadata, and camera folder structure, then confirm what the destination can import directly.
Premiere Pro can import many MXF formats, but an Avid-origin Op-Atom file may still depend on its codec, folder structure, and accompanying media. Try importing or linking the original media before transcoding.
If Premiere cannot decode the source, create a DNxHD MOV editing copy that retains the project resolution and frame rate. Verify picture, audio channels, timecode, and sync; do not claim that a lossy conversion preserves original quality.

Three-step workflow

Add the source
Open LosslessConverter and select Add Files. Add the Avid DNxHD MXF files and select the files required for this workflow.
Match the Avid editor
Open Output Format, select the Editing group, and choose Avid DNxHD. Use HD 1080P or HD 720P to match the project resolution.
Create the current output
Choose an output folder and select Start All. When processing finishes, import the DNxHD MOV files into Adobe Premiere Pro and verify picture, frame rate, and audio.
