MXF is a container used by several camera and broadcast families. Current Avid Media Composer workflows can link to many supported MXF variants, so start with the original media and its complete folder structure.
Create a DNxHD editing copy only when the source codec or metadata remains unsupported or playback is unreliable. Match the project resolution and frame rate, then check picture, audio, timecode, and sync before converting the full batch.

Add the source
Open LosslessConverter and select Add Files. Add the MXF clips and select the files required for this workflow.
Match the Avid editor
Open Output Format, select the Editing group, and choose Avid DNxHD. Use HD 1080P or HD 720P to match the project resolution.
Create the current output
Choose an output folder and select Start All. When processing finishes, import the DNxHD MOV files into Avid Media Composer and verify picture, frame rate, timecode, and audio.
