Before you begin
Keep the original camera folder when available, then confirm the recording mode, frame rate, and destination support before converting.
Current Avid workflows can link to many camera formats through their supported media components. Try the complete AVCHD structure first instead of assuming that every MTS or M2TS clip must be converted.
If linking fails or playback is unreliable, create a DNxHD editing copy for an HD project. Match the project resolution and frame rate, then verify picture, audio, timecode, and sync before processing a complete card.

Add the source
Open LosslessConverter and select Add Files. Add the MTS, M2TS, or AVCHD clips and select the files required for this workflow.
Match the Avid editor
Open Output Format, select the Editing group, and choose Avid DNxHD. Use HD 1080P or HD 720P to match the project resolution.
Create the current output
Choose an output folder and select Start All. When processing finishes, import the DNxHD MOV files into Avid Media Composer and verify the project resolution, frame rate, and audio.
