Before you begin
Keep the original camera folder when available, then confirm the recording mode, frame rate, and destination support before converting.
Current DaVinci Resolve releases can decode many MTS and M2TS recordings directly, but support can vary with codec profile, bit depth, audio layout, and operating system. Test the original media before creating an intermediate.
When conversion is necessary, use an editing codec that matches the project resolution and frame rate. Verify picture, color, audio, and sync in Resolve before processing the complete shoot.

Add the source
Open LosslessConverter and select Add Files. Add the MTS or AVCHD clips and select the files required for this workflow.
Match the Avid editor
Open Output Format, select the Editing group, and choose Avid DNxHD. Use HD 1080P or HD 720P to match the project resolution.
Create the current output
Choose an output folder and select Start All. When processing finishes, import the DNxHD MOV files into DaVinci Resolve and verify picture, frame rate, and audio before editing or grading.
