Final Cut Pro can work with supported P2 and AVC-Intra media, so start with the complete CONTENTS folder and LASTCLIP.TXT when it is present. Do not convert solely because the clips use an MXF container.
If the recording variant remains unsupported, create a ProRes editing copy that matches the source resolution, frame rate, and scan type. Verify picture, audio channels, timecode, and metadata before processing the full card.

Three-step workflow

Add the source
Open LosslessConverter and select Add Files. Add the Panasonic AG-HPX600 P2 MXF clips and select the files required for this workflow.
Create editing-ready media
Open Output Format, select the Editing group, and choose ProRes. Select Same as source to retain the source dimensions; choose HD 1080P or HD 720P only when the project deliberately uses that resolution.
Create the current output
Choose an output folder and select Start All. When processing finishes, import the ProRes MOV files into Final Cut Pro and verify AVC-Intra picture, frame rate, and audio.
